The Ventura County Coastal Association of REALTORS® has a detailed history that dates back to 1931, when the first meeting of the HomeTown Real Estate Licensees was held in Simi Valley, California. The Association received its official charter in November 1935, and was known at the time as the Simi Realty Cooperative. In 1973, the Board opened its first official office in the Stearns Building on Tapo Street, and in 1976 moved to 1st Street. Over the years, the name of the Association has changed, as well as its location offices. What hasn't changed is that HomeTown continues to offer stellar customer service to its ever-growing membership base.
